Parent Council Meeting

All parents are invited to our Parent Council Meeting this Tuesday, March 1 at our new time: 6:00pm.
We meet in the school Library.

Winnipeg Music Festival

Cuddle Up and Read

On Thursday, the whole school got together to cuddle up and read. It was so great to see all our students and staff engaged in reading together.

Our annual I Love To Read Month Book Swap was a great success again! 

Thanks to families for helping your child(ren) select books to exchange at school. We hope they came home with some new favourites. 

Remember, books are meant to be shared. Have your child(ren) trade books on a regular basis with friends. 

Go to your local Public Library to sign out books. It's free! You can also ask your child's teacher to send home books from the school. We would be happy to share books with you. 

Annual Book Swap

If your child(ren) have any books they have read and are finished with at home, have them bring them to school on Wednesday, Feb. 24 to swap with other students so they get some new books to take home to read.

Remember to look at your child(ren)'s class blog sites, and Twitter and Instagram feeds to see what we do at school. You can use these sites to open up discussions with your child about what they did at school today.
