Parents,
We partner
with an organization called First Book Canada. In the past few years, we have
purchased books for students to take home for summer reading, at a very low
cost. Recently, First Book Canada hosted an event where we were able to get
free books for students. Today, each student is taking home two free books to
keep. We encourage students to lend/trade/give these books to friends, family
members, and classmates when they are done reading their books. It is our hope
that our students enjoy the books they have chosen and continue to learn that
books are for sharing.
