We were given $2,500 from Toyota Evergreen Learning Grounds for a grant we applied for in order to plant trees on our playground.
We also opened up a few of the instruments we received through a Canada wide grant called MusiCounts BandAid Program. We feel very fortunate to have been granted $10,000 worth of new instruments for our Music program. We will re-use our old instruments in our outdoor learning.
Our K & 1 students performed a spring song they have been working on and our Gr. 2-5 students performed one song from the upcoming musical, "Annie Kids".
Mr. McKinnon handed out Speed Stacking awards to our school team of cup stackers. The team performed for us with great speed! They are way faster than us adults for sure!
