JOIN THE RWB SCHOOL FOR A SUMMER OF DANCE JULY 2 - AUGUST 12, 2017 Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet School offer four programs in July and August - something for dancers of all ages, levels and interests. Dance Intensive (ages 9-18), Adult Summer Dance (18+), and Teachers’ Summer Workshop (Professional Development) run in tandem to Summer Session, which serves as the second phase of auditions for the 2017-18 RWB School Professional Division Regular Session. Whether you are looking for a program designed to build technique or something to keep you active this summer, the RWB School offers a range of classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, hip hop and more! Residence offers a home away from home experience for students under the age of 18 and downtown Winnipeg has many hotels to choose from just a short distance off site. The RWB School Artistic Faculty are excited to share their love of dance and dedication for teaching with young artists and educators from across the country this summer. Adult Summer Dance A five-week program for adults of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re an experienced dancer looking to refine your technique or a beginner keen to try something new- classes are available in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop & modern dance with various options to suit your summer schedule.  Professional Division Summer Session RWB School ​Professional Division Summer Session is considered the second stage of a two stage audition process for entry into RWB’s Professional Division Ballet Academic Program. Students complete intensive work in ballet and pointe technique and, depending on their level, pas de deux and variations.	Dance Intensive A two week training opportunity for dancers hosted by the world renowned RWB School. DI17 is designed to give students the opportunity to express themselves artistically, improve their technique and deepen their understanding of ballet in a positive & supportive environment. Teacher Summer Workshop Join teachers from around the world who share your love of ballet for an engaging and in-depth educational experience this summer! The RWB School Professional Division’s Teachers’ Summer Workshop is a five day professional development opportunity for dance teachers at all stages of their careers and working in any syllabus or system of training.
